We call him Scout. He came to us as a four year old in April 2023 after racing 4 times resulting in a win, a second and two thirds. In other words. Scout is a trier and he’s a wonderful horse.
We’ve taken the time to put a solid training foundation on Scout. He’s level headed to ride and work around. He’s a very nice mover and had done several dressage shows this summer past with success. He attended and competed successfully at the Retired Racehorse Project Makeover at the Kentucky Horse Park. He finished in the top third of the group which consisted of over 100 horses. He’s a joy to ship, hack out and ride in the ring. He’s great for the farrier, vet and dentist.
He has three beautiful gaits and shows the potential for the upper levels. He stands 16 hands and I expect him to grow but he won’t be a big horse. He’s has tons of presence though.

Scout continues his training with USDF Silver Medal rider Kimberly Clark at Leighton Farm. We are looking for the right hands to take him to the upper levels of dressage.
